I posted this on HN seeking Western partnerships. Here's what I learned:
US/EU companies cannot work with Iranian nationals due to sanctions. This applies to:
- Remote contractor arrangements
- Equity partnerships
- Any payment/revenue relationship
Legal citations:
I'm not asking anyone to violate sanctions. Focus is now on India/UAE/Turkey where partnerships are legal.

Building 18 months without a single customer was a mistake. Should have:
- Validated with 5-10 pilot customers first
- Then built enterprise features based on feedback
Now: Get 10-20 customers, THEN look for co-founder with leverage.
