- Take photos of book pages as Document mode on your Camera App.
- Install AABBYY FineReader PDf program in your computer.
- Open the program and open OCR editor.
- Import to photos to OCR editor.
- Stop to automatic page recognizing process.
- Open Format Settings located in program settings by Tools tab.
- Set as "compressed size" to image quality.
- Definitely activate MRC compressing setting and click OK. This is a very important setting for compressing.
- Find Edit to Image and go to it.
- Go to Recommended Processing process and apply for all photos.
- After the process, find the Resolution process tab and manually enter the value 72 dpi in the Other section and apply this to all pages. (If the current photo is already 72 dpi, find a photo that is not and apply this step.)
- After that, find Save button and save as Save as a PDF document containing only images....
- To perform MRC compression, allow the recognition of all pages process, so, click continue.
- After the page recognition process is complete, wait for the automatic PDF saving process to finish.
- Once this process is complete, i.e., after you have saved the file as a PDF, check how small the file size is and how high-quality the content is.
(optinal). After step 11, you can optionally remove the colors from the photos, i.e., grayscale them. This further reduces the PDF file size. However, this process can sometimes make the text in the photo unreadable.
