- What motivates you?
Being appreciated and challenged to reach my full potential helps motivate me to do the best that I can. If there is something that I want to accomplish or prove, then I become very motivated about completing the task.
- How will you keep yourself going when faced with rejection in the job search?
Keeping in mind the fact that it only takes one acceptance before I land my first job no matter how many rejections I receive. Also reminding myself that eveything happens for a reason and if something doesnt work out, than it wasnt meant to be and wasnt the right fit.
- How will you hold yourself accountable to your plans? (Ex: Attend Mod 5, meet with cohortmates, attend Kayt's coffee shop hours, etc.)
Set specific daily and weekly goals about how much I would like to accomplish to feel satisfied about my time spent on coding or job searching.
- How do you like to communicate?
I prefer communicating over slack or email, which I am constantly checking.
- What is your ideal job?
Working at a mid-sized office downtown, where the employees are challenged but not overwhelmed. I would like to be able to prove myself as a developer and work my way up.
- What has been your approach to the job search so far?
Utilizing my network the best that I can and applying to any jobs posted online that I could potentially qualify for.
- What could you use help with?
I would love some help on writing a cover letter for a job that has no posting and that I dont know exactly what they are looking for.
- Anything else you'd like Kayt to know?
No
