- Cmnd + f could be a great shortcut to find previous messages.

What's the use of the staging area in git? on Stackoverflow (10 min)
The idea of the staging area is frequently one of the trickiest concepts to wrap your head around when you're first learning git. Read the question and answers (or do your own Googling on the git staging area). Then, create your own metaphor comparing the staging area to something in real life.
- Type your metaphor below: The staging area is kind of like writing different drafts of a paper. You write your original draft which you can use as a refference. Once you have edited and revised the paper you can always go back and start over using the original draft or subsequent versions that you may have written.

@cammac60 overall, good work on this. I think your metaphor is a better representation of git as a whole, rather than just the staging area. I would recommend you try to find some metaphors or analogies for the staging area online.
