What Is This?

This document contains quick and easy steps to upgrade Google Chrome Browser whenever it asks for it to be re-installed.

The alternative would be to manually access the Chrome install page.

Instructions 📘

1. Download the google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb from official Google website by running command below:

wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

2. Install the google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb by running command below:

sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

3. Remove the .deb file:

rm google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
