Chronos: The Year in Dots is a browser extension that visualizes the current year as a grid of dots. Your privacy is important to us.

Data Collection

We collect zero data. This extension:

How the Extension Works

The extension runs entirely locally in your browser:

  • Calculates the current day of the year using your device's date
  • Displays a visual grid of dots representing the year
  • Uses the browser's alarms API to update the display at midnight
  • All calculations happen on your device—nothing is transmitted

Permissions Used

Alarms: Used to schedule automatic daily updates at midnight to keep the visualization accurate. No data is collected or transmitted through this permission.
