The obvious answer here is my coding ability... But beyond that I truly hope to improve my mind. By that I mean several things. I look forward to opening up my creativity which I feel may have been suppressed by years of working within the education system. I am excited to allow my mind to build beyond what a curriculum or ed policy may allow. I hope to improve my ability to be vulnerable. Often times I was tasked with being the decision maker and problem solver for thousands of little problems throughout the day, and questioning my own decisions was a sign of weakness to kids and parents! It is hard to admit that I don't have the answer at times, and I know that more often than not I WON'T have the answer during this process. I know asking for help won't be easy for me, but it's something I'm looking forward to doing. Another part of my mind I plan to improve is how I learn. It has been awhile since I've formally been a real student. So I will have to figure out how to make this stick!
