This is a guide on how to activate your idevice on iOS 14 (15 won't work with this guide due to SSV) when it's futurerestored with 16 sep.

ALSO: THIS IS RECOMMENDED FOR NON-IDIOT USERS ONLY, I am not responsible for your device being broken (tho idk how it becomes broken via this)

You will need:

more than 3 braincells

You will also need to run this command: git clone https://github.com/verygenericname/SSHRD_Script --recursive

Important info

this ONLY works on checkm8 devices, meaning iPhone XS/XR and up, iPad Mini 5 and up, iPad Air 3 and up, iPad Pro 2018 and up, and iPad 8th gen and up are NOT supported. This will NOT work on the iPhone X due to 16 sep breaking restores on it for 15/14.

also, don't use this for bypassing icloud, thanks (idk if you even can)

Part 1: Preparing.

1st step, unless you're using a tethered downgrade, if you're already on iOS 14 or 15, DUMP BLOBS via ./sshrd.sh dump-blobs, if you already have blobs, copy em.

If you aren't already on the latest iOS 16, restore your idevice to 16.6.1 or whatever the latest version of 16 is, because we will need to activate the device to get records.

Then activate the device, as we are legitimately activating to grab a few files.

Part 2: grabbing files

after cloning sshrd_script and cding into the direcrtory, run:

./sshrd.sh 16.0 (if this doesn't work, replace 16.0 with a version closer to what you're on)

./sshrd.sh boot

./sshrd.sh ssh

You will then need to run: mount_filesystems

You will need to run: mkdir ~/Desktop/Actiation

You will also need FileZilla and put these settings:

Password is alpine

You need to go to /mnt2/containers/Data/System and enter each folder, then the library folder, until you see the folders called activation_records and internal, and download the files inside both folders to the Activation folder on your desktop.

You also need to go to /mnt2/mobile/Library/FairPlay and download the whole folder. (IC-info.sisv will most likely fail to download due to permissions, if that happens follow this video to make your own)

You also need to go to /mnt2/wireless/Library/Preferences/ and download the com.apple.commcenter.device_specific_nobackup.plist file to the folder.

Prep done, now we do the actual activation.

Part 3: Activating

First futurerestore to whatever iOS 14 version you have, I don't feel like explaining how lol, use alexia's guide

Now run these commands:

./sshrd.sh IOSVER fw (replacing IOSVER with the version of iOS 14 you restored to)

./sshrd.sh boot

./sshrd.sh ssh

mount_filesystems

Now use filezilla via the previous instructions to upload the files you downloaded from Part 2 before to /mnt2/ on the device they will be in the same locations, if a folder does not exist, simply create it (CAPITALIZATION IS IMPORTANT)

then run:

reboot

you should be able to successfully activate now

If you have problems signing into iCloud, make sure you follow the steps in the beginning of the guide to create IC-info.sisv

Side note: due to having iOS 16 SEP, treat it as such. If you set a passcode ever after doing this you will need to reset your phone, turning it off will not work
