- Install basic building tools:
sudo apt-get install build-essential yasm intltool automake autoconf libtool devscripts equivs - Install the libraries and headers for libavutil, libavcodec, and libswscale:
sudo apt-get install libavutil-dev libavcodec-dev libswscale-dev
