Build on your professional story by thinking about how you're progressing at Turing. Answer the questions below in your own gist to use your StrengthsFinder themes to add to your story:
-
Look at your initial StrengthsFinder reflection that you completed in week 1 -- how have your perceptions of the top 5 themes changed?
While I have to some degree been aware of these stregnths, having them in the forefront of my mind has been interesting. I have found myself more willing to try new things and rethink my approach in my code. I have come to see my strengths not as an ambiguous thing I can do well, but as a piece of me that can grow when acknowledeged and actively used.
-
How are you different today than when you first started at Turing? Where are you stronger now than on day 1?
Turing has pushed me to the limits and back again. I have never been so challenged in my life. Testing these limits has made me feel engaged like I havn't in years. My drive and focus are at an all time high. I came in here apprehensive about a lot of things. After mod one, I'm less apprehensive and more curious about all the great things in store.
-
Considering how you describe these themes, how do you want others to see you as you continue to progress through Turing?
I would like people to see me as capable and kind. You get gain respect around here for either quality. But both in tandem brings it to a new level I would like to attain.
-
How might these themes play a role in describing your Turing story?
I would like these themes to noticably grow. I am doing everything I can to gain from every aspect this program has to offer. Be it proffesional or personal growth, both of which are available at Turing for those who seek it, I want these changes to be discernable.
-
Even though your Turing story isn't finished yet, what do you envision for your development in future mods? How will this story end?
I want to continue along the same lines. I want to expand my limits in terms of personal and professional growth. I am open to everything we do here. I want it to show. In many regards, it already has.
