Family Scheduler – Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

This privacy policy applies to a personal SMS scheduling tool built and operated by an individual for private family use only.

What this service does

This is a personal automation tool that sends SMS appointment reminders and schedule confirmations to the account owner and immediate family members.

Who can use this service

This service is strictly private and invitation-only. Only individuals who have been personally given the phone number by the account owner and who have explicitly opted in by texting "REGISTER [FirstName]" are part of this service.

What data is collected

  • Phone numbers of registered family members
  • Appointment details provided via SMS (names, dates, times)

How data is used

Data is used solely to send appointment reminders and schedule confirmations. It is never sold, shared, or used for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

This tool uses Twilio for SMS delivery and AWS for backend infrastructure. No personal data is shared with any third party beyond what is required for message delivery.

Opt-out

Any registered user can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP.
