This isn't really a recipe, it's just something I made when I wanted something sweet / creamy-ish but not expensive or SUPER unhealthy.
- 400 ml milk
- 24g sugar
- 2 eggs (one full, one yolk)
- 12g potato starch
- teaspoon of bad vanilla, maybe less good vanilla
- Scald milk. Meanwhile beat everything except the vanilla together very well.
- Temper the eggs (slowly slowly add hot milk to bowl of other stuff
- Cook on low-ish heat just until mixture seems like it might boil. If things are steaming that's probably a good sign.
- Take off heat, add vanilla and put in cups to cool.
