still trying to get it, what's the difference between this simple action that worked couple days ago for me:

  1. disconnect from wifi network (do not turn off wifi adapter)
  2. openssl rand -hex 6 | sed 's/\(..\)/\1:/g; s/.$//'
  3. sudo ifconfig en0 ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
  4. connect back to local wlan

and this script???? o_0

  1. disconnect from wifi network (do not turn off wifi adapter)
    This is very useful for me!
