Extract the iso image and the contained squashfs image
$ mkdir android-image
$ bsdtar -C android-image -xf xxx.iso
$ cd android-image
$ unsquashfs system.sfs
Modify system.img size.
$ sudo e2fsck -f ./squashfs-root/system.img
