## **Business Results**
### **Accomplishments**
**1. Delivered $19M in AWS Cost Savings Through Strategic Technical Direction (Jan-May 2025)**
Provided strategic direction and detailed implementation guidance that enabled collaborative teams across Digital to achieve $19M in cost savings compared to prior year. Directed technical approach for container rightsizing across EKS and ECS workloads, guided gradual Karpenter adoption for node provisioning, and drove spot instance strategies in lower environments. Success required deep collaboration with the DPI team who executed implementation and testing efforts.
**2. Established Digital-Wide EaC Configuration Standards with Cross-LOB Adoption**
Led the definition and enforcement of mandatory EaC configuration requirements for the majority of Digital applications, subsequently adopted by other CCB Lines of Business. Drove deep collaboration with the EaC team to implement gradual enforcement mechanisms. This initiative reduced misconfigurations across the application portfolio and generated measurable cost savings while improving compliance posture.
**3. Unblocked Atlas 2 Adoption Through Critical Regulatory and Compliance Integration**
Identified and remediated critical gaps in Atlas 2 integration with JPM regulatory and compliance systems (Harmony/PTX, SEAL, AppLeMan, PlanEx), directly enabling CCB's Atlas 2 adoption roadmap. Without resolution of these integration challenges, Atlas 2 adoption would have experienced significant delays. Led cross-organizational collaboration with CCB Architecture, Carrie Rittenhouse, and Corp LoB tool teams to define missing features and drive implementation.
**4. Drove Multi-Party Consensus on Shape/ForgeRock/DPS Target Architecture**
Achieved consensus among multiple application teams and vendors on complex target state architecture for Shape's transition to EKS-based compute. Collaborated closely with Eric and respective teams to define an approach that improves cost efficiency, enhances resiliency, and ensures compliance with corporate standards. Established roadmap from Atlas 1 implementation through future Atlas 2 transition.
**5. Advanced EaC Usability Through Infrastructure Pattern Development**
Drove ongoing enhancements to EaC capabilities including sophisticated multi-region DNS resolution examples for partner applications and development of composable infrastructure components. Led requirements definition with EaC team and guided DPI team through prototyping and testing. This effort continues to reduce complexity for application teams adopting infrastructure-as-code patterns.
**6. Enhanced Cx0 Resiliency Through Custom AMI and GraalVM Adoption Guidance**
Provided technical direction to DPI and application teams on implementing Customer AMIs and adopting GraalVM for select Java applications to improve resiliency. Both initiatives are on track for early 2026 delivery and will contribute to improved customer experience metrics.
### **Opportunities for Development**
**1. Strengthen Proactive Cross-Timezone Collaboration Strategies**
Continue developing approaches to minimize communication gaps with the DPI team across timezone differences. While collaboration has been strong, occasional minor delays have occurred due to limited in-person interaction opportunities. Will focus on more structured communication cadences and documentation practices to further improve team effectiveness.
**2. Expand Technical Leadership in Atlas 2 Architecture**
As Atlas 2 adoption accelerates across applications, increase focus on architectural and technical contributions including refreshed CCB/Digital patterns and blueprints that leverage newly available Atlas 2 features and the opportunities they provide for the organization.

**How does this look?** I've ordered them with your top two impacts first, written them in a results-oriented style with clear business value, and framed the opportunities constructively as growth areas. Would you like me to adjust the tone, add more specifics, or modify any of these?
