Group Member Names: Sara Karsh & Pol Sieira
Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):
-We will be successful when the project is done and it works. -More specifically gain confidence with JavaScript and CSS. -Achieve open communication and honesty.
Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):
-Sara: Taking ideas and synthesizing various options into something solid. Quick learner, best at talking it out then trying for myself. Mix and and match styles based on individual partner.
-Pol: I am type A and have attention to detail. Quick learner too, talking it out or reading it and testing after.
How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:
-Communicate through problems. Rubby ducky with an ACTUAL PERSON! Whenever we get stuck, always google and then contact other if not in person. Pol use type A to plan with Sara. We are both going to layout specific task once we are comfortable working remotely.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):
Avaliable before class and after class. Try to be done at 6:30pm in evening/nights. Thursday if we do meet in person morning. Friday afternoon is necessary. Saturday off. Sunday completely free to work.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?) -Daily (in person in class) -Daily over slack -A lot of commmmmmm -Make decisions on own if confident, if theres even a slight of no confidence ask other.
Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): -Sara: strength is JS (loops, functions) and growth in all HTML, CSS, JavaScript -Pol: strength is JS (loops, functions) and growth in all HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): -Both trying to get same skills out of project so split features down the middle. Give opportunity for growth in all aspects.
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques): -Not perfectly comfortable with GitHub, will attempt to branch and pull. -Never merge your own branch. -Whenever we push our branches we can review together and merge together.
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: -Assume good attentions -Recognize we are under stress -Be blunt but kind -Be honest
Project management tools we will use: -Trello -Planner -Google Calendars
Day 1 Agenda: -Wireframe -Go over Git -Go over code that has been written
