Reflection

Having a background in graphic design, I've always been facinated with the ability in app design to create animated graphics that enhance a users experience. Micro-interactions are a great way to do so.

Micro-interactions are best implemented when they are subtle, smooth and in someway mimic the style of the environment around them. I hope to learn how to design and animate them!

The most important/significant things someone should know about micro-interactions are...

To what extend did your prior technical knowledge (on other seemingly unrelated topics) help you understand the new material?

What might be a metaphor or analogy for the topic you researched?

What surprised you about what you learned?

What were your roadblocks? How did I move through them?

I can adapt and apply what I learned from this from micro-interactions to market myself even more towards visuals on top of my past career in future interviews. I hope my future career as a dev allows me to create beautiful appicaltions for clients that use a mix of my core development skills, my design fundatmentals, and seamless integration of micro-interactions.
