1705 mod1 strengths and story telling
# Strengths & Storytelling Reflection #2 Guidelines
* Think back to last module compared to this module. How have you changed? How have your strengths helped you with your progress? Where are you stronger now than on day 1 of last module? Think about your progress both in terms of your technical and professional strengths.
* Looking back over the past (almost) 12 weeks at Turing I think I have changed tremendously since day 1. Having to repeat Mod1 was one of the most humbling and productive things I have ever done. I have seen all my strengths come to light in full force this go around with the emphasis on Restorative and Responsibility as I made a commtiment to myself to repeat but this time succeed in the areas I did not last time. Learner, also stood out, obviously. I belive I took the lessons presented to me stpes further in independent study in attempt to fully understand the big picture.
* Even though your Turing story isn't finished yet, what do you envision for your development in future mods? How will this story end?
* I feel repeating Mod1 has broaden my own horizons for my stay at Turing. It has allowed me to put myself in check as well as hit the reset button on my entire game plan. Repeating Mod1 was handsdown the best thing I have done for my personal and professional development. I feel like moving forward I will have a better footing for the mods to come.
* Finally, write a draft of your story here. This is a short paragraph, 4-6 sentences, describing who you are, why you came to Turing, and what you hope to accomplish while you're here:
* I made the decision to come to Turing after a series of unfortuneate events and quite frankly, several defeats in life. I made a conscious decison to change my self by challenging myself, seeking new oppurtunity in education for my future. Repeating Mod1 was an excellent experience and it allowed me to regroup as well as get back to being the type of person who I used to be and allowed me to help others. I look forward to the challenge of the next 3 mods and working with the others in my cohort inorder to better ourselves. My goal for this program is to leave with a solid understanding of the curriculum and and myself and restart this life thing on a different path.
