| # Documentation Guidelines for Cold Outreach I Deliverable: | |
| * Name of contact | |
| * "The mentor (or alum) I contacted is Jef Duke | |
| * Date of contact | |
| * 07/23/2017 | |
| * Outcome (i.e., did you get a response? If not, what is your follow-up plan? Did you meet? When? What was the result?) | |
| * Yes, Jeff did respond, very promptly the same evening as my initial email. | |
| * We had several email conversations back and forth over a few days. I posed industry direcgted questions and he offered up a great insight on how things in the tech industry operate. It was great to hear his feed back on some of the questions I had, excellent information | |
| * Jeff left our conversation open ended and invited me to ask more questions or look to him for more information as time goes on. | |
| * How do you feel like this relationship will benefit you in your longterm professional development? | |
| I think this was extremely beneficial to my personal development within the front end program. At the time of our conversations I was deep into algorithims and a binary trie, not my favorite areas. Jeff offered valuable insight which helped me keep my focus as well as look forward to what is next. |
