cd ../../System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.Framework(This folder should exist & it indicates ruby env is installed.) - Install brew :

brew install node(node comes pre-built with npm) - Check npm path :
npm config get prefix, it should be/Users/<your@bash_profile_name> - Install common npm dev modules (globally)
