QC3907 Smart Camera [Nextech brand and others]

Couldn't find this information online anywhere so I thought I would post this useful information.

  1. Yes this camera supports ONVIF (but it is disabled by default). 2/ Port 8000 (ONVIF) is open by default and responds to http://admin:admin@[Camera IP here]:8000 but it appears that all endpoints are disabled.
  2. It uses a happytimesoft linux server as the backend.
  3. To enable, you must connect it to TUYA Smart Life then enable ONVIF from the menu (it will force you to set another password).
  4. If you forget the password you can factory reset your device. This will also change your ONVIF endpoints though.
  5. I'm experiencing that the device intermittently (once a month maybe) changes its ONVIF endpoints by itself. Given how intermittent it is, its impossible for me to diagnose - I suspect it might be a drop off from wifi.
